It’s amazing how as I reminisce on this new chapter of my life, the most evident thing to me is the amazing people who have at different times given me a hand, a shoulder, a back, a push, something, anything just to help me rise.
It is easy to take credit for your growth with all the quotes about you defining your life, your future, your story etc. but people are very essential to that success.
Remember, sucking your friends dry is parasitic. Have a mutually beneficial friendship. Help your friends. Be a shoulder, a back, a hand, an ear, an eye, something, anything for someone close to you.
So go beyond “just networking” and create lasting friendships, bonds, and connections that last for a lifetime or at least yield blossoming fruits while they last.
